Research
At the intersection of macroeconomics and finance, my research develops and estimates theoretical models to explain business cycle fluctuations and financial market phenomena. I study how financing activities, shaped by market structure, financial frictions, and investor behaviour, affect credit, aggregate investment, and economic activity within general equilibrium frameworks. My work seeks to improve our understanding of financial crises and risk-premium-driven recessions, while informing the design of monetary and macroprudential policies.
